What documents are required to rent a luxury car in Dubai?
The required documentation depends on whether you are a tourist or a UAE resident:
For UAE Residents: A valid UAE Driving License, Emirates ID, and a copy of your Resident Visa & Passport.
For Tourists / International Visitors: Your original Passport, a valid Visit Visa (with entry stamp), and your home country’s Driving License.
What is the minimum age requirement for hiring a premium vehicle?
While the legal age to drive in the UAE is 18, the standard minimum age to rent a vehicle is 21. However, for high-performance supercars and ultra-luxury models (such as Rolls-Royce, Lamborghini, or Ferrari), the minimum age limit is 25 years old across most premium agencies to comply with comprehensive insurance policies.
How does the security deposit work, and when is it refunded?
A security deposit is temporarily blocked on your credit card at the start of your rental period to cover potential traffic fines, Salik (toll gates), or minor damages not covered by insurance.
Because the Dubai Road and Transport Authority (RTA) traffic fine system can take several days to update, the deposit block is automatically released within 21 to 30 days after the vehicle is safely returned.
What are Salik fees, and how are fuel and parking handled?
Salik (Toll Gates): Every time the vehicle passes through an automated Salik toll gate in Dubai, a flat fee of 5 AED is tracked. This total is calculated at the end of your trip.
Fuel Policy: We operate on a Full-to-Full policy. Your luxury car will be delivered to you with a full tank of premium fuel, and we request that it is returned with the same level to avoid refueling surcharges.
Parking: The renter is responsible for all public RTA parking fees and private valet charges throughout the rental duration.
Is insurance included, and what happens in the event of an accident?
Yes, all rentals include standard Comprehensive Insurance as required by UAE law. However, if any accident occurs:
You must immediately notify the Dubai Police (via the app or by calling 999) to obtain an official green or red Police Report.
An official insurance claim cannot be processed without a valid police report, meaning the renter would remain fully liable for any damages if the scene is abandoned or unreported.
